D Interceptor – by Nekosoftech

Last updated: March 22, 2025

D Interceptor does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All network analysis happens locally on your device and never leaves it.

Introduction

Nekosoftech built the D Interceptor app as a developer tool for network debugging and security research. This page explains our policies regarding data collection — of which there is essentially none beyond what stays on your device.

Data We Collect

D Interceptor does not collect personal information. All captured network traffic, session logs, scripts, and settings are stored exclusively on your device. We have no access to any of this data.

Network Traffic

D Interceptor captures and displays network traffic from your device for debugging purposes. This data is:

  • Processed entirely on-device through a local VPN. No traffic is sent to any Nekosoftech server.
  • Stored only in the app's local data container on your device. Cleared when you clear sessions or uninstall the app.
  • The certificate used for HTTPS inspection is generated and stored securely on your device. It never leaves your device.

Device Permissions

D Interceptor requests the following permissions:

  • VPN Configuration — Required to route device traffic through the local on-device proxy. The VPN operates entirely on your device and never connects to external servers.
  • Keychain Access — To store the Root CA private key and generated certificates securely on-device.

The app does not request access to camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, or any other sensitive permissions.

Third-Party Services

D Interceptor does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs. There are no in-app purchases tracked by third parties. The only external network calls are the ones you intentionally make through the proxy for debugging purposes.

Intended Use

D Interceptor is designed for legitimate development and API testing of your own apps or apps you have authorization to test. Users are responsible for complying with applicable laws and the terms of service of any apps they analyze. Use the app only on networks and services you own or have explicit permission to test.

Children's Privacy

D Interceptor is a developer tool not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the app's data practices change. The updated date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
